TextAid is the product of our vision to improve the provision of health insurance in developing countries. We have designed a product that provides real value to health insurance providers, medical service providers, and the patients themselves.

Munyaradzi Hoto (Co-founder)

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Munyaradzi is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at Adfenix, an AI driven technology platform focused on the real estate sector. Adfenix has partnerships with over 2,000 individual brokerages across 13 countries, including the US, UK, Australia and Scandinavia. Growing300%+ per year, Adfenix was awarded the prestigious honour of being named Swedish StartupTeam of the Year in 2017.

Prior to Adfenix, Munya was Director of Digital at Foundry, a developer of award-winning computer graphics and visual effects (VFX) software used globally by leading artists, designers, creative professionals, and post production houses such as Pixar, Walt Disney Animation and Sony Pictures Imageworks and also the Co-Founder at TextAid a digital communication platform focused on mitigating the risks posed by chronic illnesses to low income societies.

Prior to joining Foundry and founding TextAid, Munya was on the founding team of the award-winning AI powered demand orchestration platform Idio. Idio uses Content Intelligence to predict the interests of every individual, and automatically deliver relevant 1:1 experiences across digital channels. Global leaders including Intel, Fitch Ratings, and AllianceBernstein trust Idio’s AI to maximize buyer engagement and pipeline, whilst handling marketing complexity.

Amos Kapishe (Co-founder)

After graduating with a degree in Computer Science at the University of Birmingham, Zimbabwe-born Amos has pursued a career in bespoke software development at a software house in the midlands. With a keen interest in software architecture and an aspiration to impact positive change in developing regions through technological innovation, Amos endeavours to deliver a sophisticated yet intuitive TextAid platform that he believes will revolutionise the African health sector.
